ASFI, together with 19 other peak professional, industry and investor bodies in Australia, recently came together to submit a joint response to the proposed ISSB standards on sustainability and climate reporting.

The peak bodies look forward to working with the Australian Government and key national and international stakeholders as the climate change reporting regime is finalised and phase in.’

The Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI) has released its first progress report identifying six critical challenges that Australia’s financial services sector must address in order to navigate risks and opportunities for Australia’s future resilience, prosperity and wellbeing. ASFI will be engaging and consulting with stakeholders between December 2019 and April 2020. ASFI invites interested parties to make a submission.
