Administration Officer - Operations | Australian Sustainable Finance Institute

  • As a critical part of ASFI’s Operations team this role is responsible for delivering high quality operational support for the organisation. You will be the first port of call for the team needing operational support and will be responsible for drafting, updating and driving implementation of operational policies, processes and systems across HR, IT, risk and compliance, facilities and general operations under direction of the Executive Manager, Finance and Operations. 

    • With oversight from the Executive Manager, Finance and Operations, ensure operations are run efficiently, leading operational and business management including systems, policy, processes, HR, IT and resources

    • With oversight from the Executive Manager, Finance and Operations, develop and implement fit for purpose processes and procedures (policies, performance review framework, workplace health and safety, inductions)

    • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including IT and other service providers

    • Identify any areas of deficiency and propose strategies for continuous improvement

    • Contribute to other work of the Operations team as needed

    • Other duties as directed by the Executive Manager, Finance and Operations

    Required Skills and Proficiencies

    • Background and experience in an operational role in a similar organisation (either not for profit or business)

    • Track record of ‘getting things done’ and demonstrated ability to work independently and remain highly productive

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player who enjoys working with others

    • A commitment to, and reputation for high quality work

    • The ability to learn new skills quickly
