Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy Release Webinar

The Australian Sustainable Finance Institute is pleased to announce the release of the Australian sustainable finance taxonomy for climate change mitigation on 17 June 2025.

The taxonomy is a classification system that defines economic activities that deliver on key climate and/or other sustainability objectives. It provides financial institutions and businesses with a clear, science-based framework to assess the sustainability of investment opportunities and support the transition to a net-zero economy.

To mark this milestone, ASFI is pleased to invite you to join this public webinar and learn how the taxonomy works, different ways it can be applied across the financial system, and why it represents a significant step forward for Australia’s sustainable finance market. The session will include a live Q&A with the ASFI Taxonomy Development Team.

The webinar will be recorded and made available on ASFI’s website.

Learn more about the Australian taxonomy here.
