First Nations finance

Relates to the understanding of First Nations Australians’ cultures, the opportunities and risks that finance activities create for them, and how finance enables self-determination for First Nations Australians.

Proficiency level 1 (Emerging)

  • Be actively developing cultural considerations of First Nations Australians, and consider how these cultures interplay with finance activities

  • This could include learning about historical economic exclusion, native title, systemic exclusion, or other related challenges faced by First Nations People

Proficiency level 2 (Intermediate)

  • Relates to the understanding of First Nations Australians’ cultures, the opportunities and risks that finance activities create for them, and how finance enables self-determination for First Nations Australians.

Proficiency level 3 (Senior)

  • Relates to the understanding of First Nations Australians’ cultures, the opportunities and risks that finance activities create for them, and how finance enables self-determination for First Nations Australians.
