The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) is consulting on draft standards to adopt the global baseline sustainability standards (IFRS S2 and parts of IFRS S1) in Australia.

The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) is consulting on draft standards to adopt the global baseline sustainability standards (IFRS S2 and parts of IFRS S1) in Australia. These standards will give effect to Treasury’s legislative requirements. Submissions are due to the AASB by 1 March.
