ASFI COP31 Work Program: Climate Finance Roundtable with the Minister for Climate Change and Energy

On 24 September, Members of ASFI’s COP31 SteerCo met with the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon Chris Bowen MP to discuss plans and priorities for COP31, should Australia secure the rights to co-host this conference with Pacific Island nations in 2026. In particular, the discussion focused on opportunities for Australia to leverage COP31 to scale private finance for climate outcomes in Australia and the region.
