Taxonomy Information Forum - Developing an Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy

The Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI) welcomes you to join the Taxonomy Information Forum webinar on Wednesday 27 September, from 11:00-11:45 AM (AEST).

In July 2023, ASFI and the Australian Government commenced a joint initiative to develop an Australian sustainable finance taxonomy. The initiative will draw from work undertaken internationally on sustainable finance taxonomies to an Australian taxonomy that is credible, usable, and internationally interoperable, while reflecting the Australian economy and context. The taxonomy will provide a common standard for 'sustainable' finance in Australia, thereby helping channel more capital into supporting the climate transition and achieving our emissions reduction targets.

ASFI's Taxonomy Project Lead, Nicole Yazbek-Martin, will introduce the Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy Project's key objectives, governance arrangements and forward work program. Nicole will also provide an overview of the various avenues for engaging with the development of the Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy over the next 12 to 18 months.

There will be an opportunity for Q&A, and a recording will be published on ASFI's website.
