Companies are setting increasingly ambitious greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. However, questions remain about what these targets mean in terms of emissions in 2030, how these companies will perform relative to peers, and how they'll be positioned relative to a temperature aligned benchmark in 2030?

This session will discuss Bloomberg Intelligence's analysis and CO2 forecasts of over 400 of the top emitting companies, across oil and gas, utilities, metals and mining, steel, airlines, chemicals, marine-shipping, cement, automobiles and banking. It will discuss key elements of decarbonization for each industry and which companies are best-positioned to meet a temperature-aligned and industry-specific benchmark.

It will also discuss how leaders on CO2 intensity have generated alpha across key industries relative to their more carbon-intensive peers.
