Policy engagement

ASFI welcomed the release of the Australian Government’s Sustainable Finance Roadmap last week. Clarity on the next steps and priorities for progressing Australia’s sustainable finance policy will help tackle greenwashing and encourage the credibility and growth of sustainable finance markets in Australia. Natural Capital

ASFI and Macdoch Foundation’s Farming for the Future have released first insights from our ‘Valuing Natural Capital’ partnership. The report draws on interviews with participants of our Natural Capital Advisory Group (NCAG) to uncover how financial institutions are approaching nature. We are leveraging these insights as we continue to advance the inclusion of natural capital considerations in decision-making across the finance sector. Read more →

Finance Sector Leadership

Our Leadership Working Group has returned for 2024, bringing finance leaders together to exchange and develop strategies for transforming sustainability leadership. In May, the Group held its first meeting of the year, brainstorming challenges and solutions for scaling sustainability within their organisations. Read their insights →

Sustainable Finance Solutions

Purdie Bowden (Program Lead; Policy and Sustainable Finance Solutions) represented ASFI this month in Singapore, where she engaged with international peers, government and the broader finance sector on increasing sustainable finance in the Asia-Pacific region. Read more →
